We came to Madrid with the intention of having some meetings with companies established in the spanish capital. Our crash into the wall of reality made us realize one of our biggest mistakes, the need of arranging an appointment with time enough with the companies, the bigger is the company the more time you need to make a meeting happened. Even if we already knew that, it has been the fist time we faced this reality so close that we could even go through the security guys in the front door. So innocent…
All this made us think on the availability and open environment we found in San Francisco, where you can have much easier at least 5 minutes to explain your project ideas.
After this big learning we went to the chinese embassy to make the visas for our coming Learning Journey to China and India. But we need to come back because we miss some our team-mates visas still.
We end-up the day meeting Oscar del Rio and Alvaro San Martin who where part of the Imagine.cc program with our team-mate Aitor Otxoa last summer. Sharing projects, experiences and ideas with them while we drink some of the typical “sangria” and eat some spanish omelet and “morcilla” from Burgos was the perfect way to finish a long day.
Our road-trip is still going on with action in Cordoba and more stops in La Rioja and Navarra but this will be another story that we could use to present the project too. Because this is being enough long for today… 😉
